At last month's annual gala at
Capitale, the Tenement Museum honored three of New York's most influential architects: Gary Handel, Brad Perkins, and Enrique Norten. All of their work has had a remarkable impact on the built environment, and both Mr. Handel and Mr. Perkins have been strong supporters of the Museum's restoration efforts. Perkins Eastman, the architecture and design firm, is currently finalizing plans for the Museum's new visitor center at 103 Orchard Street, slated to open early next year.
Thanks to everyone who came to enjoy a wonderful evening and supported the Tenement Museum's P.S. 97 campaign, the proceeds of which help underwrite NY public school visits.
